I just got mine in and want to try it with MRL. I don’t think it could comfortably run the dual Mega Arduinos. I also have a 10” touchscreen I was hoping to use with Raspian and then there is the camera...

Has anyone tried something like this yet? Let’s leave the Kinect off the list.

If not, we got a 3 day weekend in the US and I have no life. I can do the pilot. Thoughts?

Hello,
I only tested with a Raspi2 and 3.
It runs the two Arduino okay, but at the moment you start to acquire images via the camera, the CPU and certainly the lack of memory can’t handle it. It slows the process which makes the brain of the robot not really convincing.
Try it on the Raspi4 and let us know, it’s interesting to know.
There is various posts about the install process on myrobotlab.org

Hello,
I am interested to know how it's going with the use of the Raspi4 and MyRobotLab.

It went really well!  Compared to running two megas and the camera on a decent Alienware laptop running Windows 10, I didn't see any difference with response time or "jitterness".

I worked on the Kinect aspect of it for about 3 days and didn't have any luck.  I'm not a programmer.  I'm an infrastructure/virtualization/cloud guy, so I don't think I have the knowledge to get it running.

I saved the SD card for later as it's being a VPN endpoint into AWS for now. Once I'm done with that project, I'll hook it back up to the InMoov and send some pics.

Thanks for checking in and Happy Holidays to everyone!

Thanks for the feedback,
it certainly will interest others as well.

Not sure the Windows drivers of the Kinect can be installed on the Raspi, I never tried...

I am also working with a Raspberry pi 4 with 4 gigs my robot lab seems to mainly work the web gui doesn't work though but the chatbot seems to be happy. Raspian is still 32 bits so no chrome browser also I don't think it was release for the arm processor yet. still learning the rest so it will work for now.
