since I did my formative years in an atmosphere of "show me" ... this

and there are other numbers too that are impressive too ... 9953 for
Gurcharan ji...
and this data usually is 1 or two days behind actual numbers, Dr.
Singh may be even closer to the 10000 mark than this....
So we will be congratulating Gurcharanji very soon....

Nor there is any place where one gets accurate numbers.
Whatever numbers are displayed at "About this group" reflect the count of posts as well as responses made through one particular email ID.
Gurcharan ji posted at http://groups.google.com/group/indiantreepix/browse_thread/thread/c540c4f710176cbb his statistics corresponding to earlier and present email IDs.
