For validation
Seen on Vetal tekdi Pune last week.
A small shrub.Flowers 4-5 cm.
Leaves and other characters as seen

Still doubtful whether it is Ruellia prostrata or Ruellia tuberosa.
I think it appears more like Dipteracanthus prostatus Syn. Ruellia prostrata

The key in Flora of Pakistan reads:
 
Erect shrublet with hoary shoots. Flowers pale-white. Capsule glabrous, 8-10-seeded   1 Ruellia patula
Prostrate to procumbent, ± pubescent herb. Flowers purple-violet. Capsule sparsely hairy, 16-20-seeded   2 Ruellia prostrata

I am reproducing key from FL Pakistan to include R. tuberosa also

Roots tuberous. Calyx lobes longer than bracts and
