¿ Vernonia ? ... (family: Asteraceae)
Dear friends,
Please help in knowing species of possibly Vernonia.
Herb standing about 3 - 4 ft high, growing along ghat road; flower head about 15 - 20 mm across. 

I recognize this posted plant to be same as what me and Anurag had earlier seen at Agumbe on 26 DEC 2014 near waterfall area.

I referred to Digital Flora of Karnataka (Herbarium JCB).
Posted plant matches well to the description, distribution and flowering time.
