Uttarakhand has three Luisia species- L.brachystachys, L.trichorhiza and L.zeylanica but I am not able to place it in any of them since lacking specimens. Hope Pankaj Ji will be able to determine.

Photographed in Pindar valley of Chamoli district at an altitude of 750m, growing over bare rock in July.

This could be Luisia trichorhiza. The leaf has equal thickness along
the whole length. In Luisia zeylanice it is slightly tapering and
leaves are not erect either.

In Hong Kong orchids rarely grow on trees. Most of them are on rocks.
Greater number of orchids grow on rocks In limestone mountains of
Asia. In Laos, we found around 140 secies of orchids in 3 days of
field work 90% in limestone.

I will call this Luisia zeylanica, but thats just a guess as the leaves are tapering towards apex.
