Thanks Garg ji, very much.
This could be some cholla cactus, species of Cylindropuntia. based on couple of my queries at facebook.
I hope someone familiar with exotic cactii of desert habitat, will help us with ID.

Regards.
Dinesh

I have the feeling that this may be same as cactus (2) FOR ID :: Jurassic Cactus Park, Jaisalmer :: 27 OCT 18 (at least first four images).

Thanks Garg ji.

Each post has plants from different areas of the same park - hardly separated by few metres.

I decided to post them separately because of some visual differences among them.
In this post cactus (3), I find profuse branching at any given node; also each branch clearly seem to be obovoid. Overall habit is dense and bushy
In cactus (2) post, the branches are sparse, nodes are relatively spaced, branches seem to be cylindrical, and also arise perpendicularly. Overall habit is tall growing plant (not wide).
But these are my naive observations.

Regards.
Dinesh
