It is some sps of Orchid. One can see the typical v-shaped section of the leaves which are also thick. The rounded tips of the leaves are also like those common wild Orchids growing mainly on Mango trees in Kolkata. The mass of roots are also similar to the aerial roots of some Orchids. It was growing at one of the main braches of Limonia acidissima syn. Limonia elephantum or Fernonia limonia (wood-apple, elephant-apple).

Yes a Vanda, most likely Vanda tessellata. But there is one more species in the area, Vanda wightii which is very rare.
