 is found in Tamil Nadu. The plant's native range extends from Pakistan to Assam in India, including regions in the Western Ghats where Tamil Nadu is located. 
Distribution and Habitat in Tamil Nadu
  • Location: The species is found in several districts of Tamil Nadu, including Coimbatore, Dindigul, Nilgiri, Theni, and Tirunelveli. It is present in both the Western Ghats and Eastern Ghats.
  • Habitat: It grows as a woody climber in open forests and on hill slopes at altitudes typically between 1,300 and 1,800 meters.
  • Flowering and Fruiting: The plant generally flowers and fruits between November and March, or January and May, depending on the specific location.
