An earlier post by Dr. Bhagyashri Madam helped me ID this plant. Today, i took photographs of the fruits of the same plant.

Species - Plumbago zeylanica

Date/Time- 09/12/2011 @ 2.40 P.M. & 01/02/2012 @ 10.00 A.M.

Location- Kamarkundu (Hooghly District), West Bengal

Habitat- Wild

Plant Habit- herb

Height- NA

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size- ovate

Inflorescence Type/ Size- inflorescence 3 to 15 cm long

Flowers Colour- white

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds- capsule

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- NA
