Please ID this tree with violet flowers. Sorry about the quality of picture. Photo was taken in Sri Lanka in Sep 2012.

Seems to be Jacaranda.
Kindly post a clear picture with the leaves.

I agree with Saroj ji.  Photographs of better quality showing the leaves arrangement etc. are very essential to pindown the ID.
