Impatiens sp. from Khaiyang, Manipur ID

Gentlemen,

I would appreciate an ID on this delightful Impatiens, found growing in the ditches besides

rice paddies below the village of Khaiyang, Manipur. The water was flowing and the Impatiens grew

in the damper waterlogged sections of the paddies.

Date/Time-  22 Nov 2012 4.30 pm

Location- Place, Altitude, GPS- Khaiyang, Ukhrul, Manipur 1400m

Habitat- Garden/ Urban/ Wild/ Type- Rice Paddy

Plant Habit- Tree/ Shrub/ Climber/ Herb-  Herb

Height/Length-  Ht up to 300mm

Leaves Type/ Shape/ Size-

Inflorescence Type/ Size-

Flowers Size/ Colour/ Calyx/ Bracts- yellow/pink

Fruits Type/ Shape/ Size Seeds-

Other Information like Fragrance, Pollinator, Uses etc.- Bees

well
now we are on track

To a city bred the scene seems idyllic, and peaceful , but is the farmer happy?   i wonder.. his cottage looks as if it could do with some cash inflow...  may be he will have some?
the rice has been harvested ....

and what is the brown ?dried twig/plant ...it appears at regular intervals so may be was planted . by design?
what is it, why is it there?
