Dear Dr. Kasaju,
Thank you for sharing the specimen photo. Upon careful observation and verification of the key to the species from my work, I confirm that the provided specimen is Taraxacum parvulum Candolle, Prodr 7: 149. 1838. Ge Xuejun, Jan Kirschner, Jan Štěpánek in Flora of China. 20-21:318 (2011); Kirschner, J. Stepanek, J. Edinburgh J. Bot. 53 (2):219 (1996). Type specimen: Stainton, Sykes and Williams, Lectotype 4848, 17 Apr,1954. Leotodon parvulum Wall.ex DC.
Synonym: Leontodon parvulum Wall. ex DC.
Type specimen: Stainton, Sykes & Williams, Lectotype 4848, 17 Apr 1954.
Reference: Kirschner & Štěpánek, Edinburgh Journal of Botany 53(2): 219 (1996).
Additional Information:
Distribution: Yunnan (China), Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Nepal (East, Central, West)
Altitude: 720–4850 m
Ecology: Grassland slopes, pastures, river terraces
Phenology: January–December
Note:
Taraxacum himalaicum has been treated as a doubtful species and is currently considered conspecific with T. parvulum. Comparative studies show that both share similar achene structures, including identical rib and spine patterns.

The species that was collected from Jumla is Taraxacum nepalense:
Soest in Bull. Brit. Mus. (Nat. Hist.), Bot. 2. 270 (1961). Ge Xuejun,
Jan Kirschner, Jan Štěpánek in Flora of China. 20-21:283-284 (2011);
Hara et al. in Enum. Fl. Pl. Nep. 3:46 (1982).
Type specimen: Bisram, Holotype: BM, 505, 01, Jun 1929.
T. porphyranthum Boiss
T. hooftii Van Soest
Distribution range: Nepal (W)
Altitude: 2700-3400 m
Ecology: On open slopes, grassland
Phenology: June-August
Note: T. nepalense is allied to T. porphyranthum Boiss.; both have
purplish flowers, and their leaf form is rather similar. In T.
porphyranthum, however, the outer involucral bracts are narrowly
margined, whereas in T. nepalense, the green field of bracts is nearly
restricted to the median line. T. hoftii also resembles T. nepalense
but differs in its yellow flower heads with larger involucral bracts.
