Gurcharan ji ... requesting you to take a look at these two links showing digital herbaria of Boehmeria macrophylla at

1) http://catalog.digitalarchives.tw/dacs5/System/Exhibition/Detail.jsp?OID=2491982
2) http://plants.jstor.org/taxon/specimens/Boehmeria.macrophylla?s=-ttl&tab=specimens&doi=10.5555/AL.AP.COMPILATION.PLANT-NAME-SPECIES.Boehmeria.macrophylla

Another possibility of Muthu ji's plant could be a species of Laportea (syn. Fleurya, Urtica).

This has to be an Urticaceae for sure.

As it is from Amboli, it could be Boehmeria platyphylla Talb. (B.
scabrella Gaud.) of family Urticaceae.
A common shrub more common in the rainy season (also seen in the
summer season) along the edges of evergreen to semievergreen forests.

One more Boehmeria malabarica Wedd. is a small tree seen occassionally
in the evergreen forests close to the water course.

Taking it as Boehmeria virgata var. macrostachya (Wight) Friis & Wilmot-Dear as per discussions at Dinesh ji' s Flickr images of Boehmeria macrophylla ¿ var. scabrella ?
