Request for Identification

Kindly identify the plant. 
Date: 17th October 2010.
Location: Paddar valley district Kishtwar J&K.
Altitude: 2200 meters asl.
Plant height: 2-3 meters
Plant habit/habitat: Wild shrub.
Many parallel stems often used for making hard sticks for axes and other implements.

This species is somewhat looking like Ficus spp but may be different. Not sure, exactly no any idea and not seen properly.
