Dear all

Further i went through the paper published in Rheedea on The genus Impatiens (Balsaminaceae) in the northern and
parts of central Western Ghats by Jyosna R.N. Dessai and M.K. Janarthanam and it says

24. Spur present ...................................................... rosea and balsamina
24. Spur absent ................................. I. scabriuscula

In my specimen spur is absent.

Hence can i say that this is

Impatiense scabriuscula

Regards

Prasad

Dear All,
I can agree with Prasad ji, however even S Odissa is opposite side of subcontinent, quite far from known distribution of I. scabriuscula.
Anyone with access to flora of Odissa?
                                                                       Wojciech

But images seem to be quite hairy at Impatiens scabriuscula compared to almost glabrous here.
