Vernonia elliptica DC. is a shrubby plant much used as an ornamental for its dense evergreen foliage in Pantnagar.

To me this plant looks similar to one uploaded by Dinesh ji as Vernonia elaeagnifolia


Would be happy to know the true identity. Is very commonly grown in Delhi.
