Thanks for the id.

Coral Tree is the common name for Erythrina caffra.

I just couldn't guess this to be Erythrina Species.

Yes, usually one  cant guess that its a coral tree  because its bark is often the stark white/grey as you see and no thorns or thorny knobs as we see in india.

but its the coral tree e. caffra (or its cultivars (there are  several)  much loved by architectural designers of landscapes and street plantings.

it does not shed as many leaves in one go...so not much hassle for the clean up crew.
