Hi Team.

Ima sdk fails to load sdk from June 11 update and google.ima gives as undefined in Samsung CTV 2017 models

While loading ima3.js it access a DOM.Rect funciton which is not availabe in the browser version. of Samsung tv 2017 model. hence the google.ima is not setting and our app is crashing.

Hi,

We are experiencing the same issue.

With the version 3.701.0 released on June 11th, IMA HTML5 SDK stopped working on very old browser versions. We investigated the issue and error is caused by usupported API DOMRect. 

This issue has significant impact on us, because old browsers represent majority of our traffic.

Attached is a screenshot of this error in the IMA HTML5 Video Suite Inspector that displays the error happening inside the IMA SDK javascript:
SCRIPT5009: 'DOMRect' is not defined ima3_debug.is (771,81)

For the reference, similar issue happened in the past and the IMA SDK team did revert the changes. In this case it's a similar situation of using the DOM APIs which are not supported in the old web browser environments.

Hi, is there any update? This is a major issue that affects (at least):

- LG WebOS 2019 and older

- Samsung Tizen 2018 and older

- Xbox One / Series

These are relatively up-to-date platforms that are still widely distributed, so a timely fix would be appreciated.
