Hi Frank -
The Cancer Registry Profile (Physician Reporting to Public Health -
Cancer Registry) is on the IHE-QRPH meeting next week. We've been
scheduled to discuss the need for revision on Tuesday at 11:00am CENTRAL
(8:00 PM Berlin time). (The full agenda is below.)
You may be aware that the US has released an Implementation Guide for
physician reporting under its Meaningful Use Program. We (us USA folks)
need to get this into the IHE Profile so that there aren't two standards
available for vendors to use and confuse. It's vital that we keep the
IHE Profile international, so we're going to discuss how best to
incorporate the USA Implementation Guide during the F2F.
Wendy Blumenthal and I will be attending by phone and we're hoping you
can attend as well. We'd really like your perspective and help in
revising the PRPH-CA profile. Can you let us know whether you can
attend? I've attached the US Implementation Guide for your reference.
Best Wishes.

*_EXPECTATIONS of primary _**_editors_*
As the primary editor, here is what you can do to prepare for this
face-to-face:
* Collate all comments into a spreadsheet and sort by line number
and priority (Low / Medium / High)
* Resolve typos and Low priority comments (use good judgment – if
the comment deserves discussion, set priority to Medium)
* Distribute comment spreadsheet and updated draft with Low
resolutions to Technical Committee
At the face-to-face, we will do the following:
* Committee will vote in bulk on Low priority comments
* Review Medium & High priority comments at face-to-face
* Accept / Accept with Modification / Reject all Medium and High
priority comments
* Update the Resolution spreadsheet (template / format) to come soon
* Updated document and prepare for TI submission to Mary Jungers
(via co-chairs)
