I found the information below but I don't know how to fix the issue. Could anyone help me please?

I have downloaded IGV_2.19.6. I am unable to "load from URL".

The error loading Google OAuth in the newest IGV version is a common issue related to IGV trying to access Google's OAuth provisioning URL even if Google Access is disabled in the settings. This causes repeated errors or console clutter but usually does not affect the main functionality of IGV.

Some users reported that IGV always attempts to load a URL like https://s3.amazonaws.com/igv.org.app/desktop_google regardless of settings. A workaround suggested is to create a local file named "desktop_google" and then set the property PROVISIONING.URL in the IGV preferences file (prefs.properties) to point to this local file path. This prevents IGV from trying to load the remote URL and stops the error messages.

Also, ensuring "Enable Google Access" is unchecked in the General tab of IGV user preferences helps minimize these errors, but the requests may still happen in the background.groups.google+1

In summary, the key fixes are:

• Uncheck "Enable Google Access" in IGV preferences.
