Hi John,
Based on the other thread you've started, it sounds to me like you've tried multiple installs and keep making changes when you run into problems. At this point it becomes difficult to troubleshoot, especially remotely, as we don't know what previous actions may be affecting your current attempts. I hate to say it, but I would suggest starting fresh at this point. Our documentation, if followed closely, should work, and should be location agnostic, so as far as I am aware, it shouldn't matter if you are installing on an EC2 instance - but it will matter whether or not you use Ubuntu 14.04 as your base OS, that your PHP version is at least 5.3.10 or 5.4 for newer versions of AtoM, etc. Our developers have tested this configuration many times, and it is what we use in both development and production. If you've made changes along the way (such as attempting to use Apache for example, and then switching), it becomes more difficult for us to provide support, and moves outside the experience of our developers.
If you're trying to install AtoM 2.2, there are some known issues - workarounds are documented in this thread:
- However, none of the issues you've reported sound related to these bugs.
