Hi everybody,

I'm Alexandra Vidal and I'm working with ICA-ATOM 2.1.2. Today when I was managing some authority records suddendly appears this message:

The server returned a "500 Internal Server Error".
Sorry something went wrong
Try again a little later or ask in the discussion group
What's next

If someone could help me, I will be very gratefull.

Hi Alexandra,

Could you please try putting your AtoM site into debug mode?

Then try to repdoduce the error. It should give a more full error message that you can post to the forum and we can try to help you out from there!

Hi Alexandra,

Another question for you, and a few more suggestions...

Have you followed the recommended installation instructions (MySQL, Nginx, Ubuntu 14.04, all the recommended dependencies, etc), or have you installed differently?

The first thing I always recommend trying is to repopulate the search index:

Sometimes you can get an error when, for whatever reason, there is a problem with the slug of the record. If the slug is missing for example, you might get a 500 error when trying to navigate to the page. You can regenerate missing slugs in the database using the following command-line tool, from the root directory of your AtoM installation:


Let us know what you find, and we can go from there.
