K3NG keyer

Hi all,

I would like to use a K3NG keyer to play on iCW.

The output is simple Arduino, with a buffering transistor, and a 100µF electrolytic capacitor.

May I use it directly for Mumble??

I also own a small "Picofrog" interface. Would it be better with the interface??

I'm not familiar with the PicoFrog but I just took a quick look at their page. That might work, you could try it and see how it sounds.  To use a K3NG or most other keyer sidetones you will need to add a HyPerMite or similar audio shaping filter. They are available ( maybe schematics too ) from the  Four State QRP Group.  http://www.4sqrp.com/HiPerMite.php
