So I finally deleted my Google account completely and I'm sending this email as a test to see if copying the subject line from the topic's web page (in this case Re: [hugin-ptx] Re: Request : forum migration) puts it as a response in the right thread by using protonmail.

Sorry for the fuss, I finally deleted my Google account and this is my second attempt at posting in an existing topic with an email (Protonmail) by copying the subject line from the topic's web page (in this case [hugin-ptx] Request : forum migration).

If this message is created in a new topic, please delete it.

Sorry (again) for the fuss if this doesn't work.
I finally deleted my Google account and this is my third attempt at posting in an existing topic with an email (Protonmail) by copying the subject line from the topic's web page (in this case Request : forum migration).

Sorry (again) for the fuss and repeating myself if this doesn't work.
I finally deleted my Google account and this is my fifth attempt at posting in an existing topic with an email (Protonmail) by copying the subject line from the topic's web page (in this case [hugin-ptx] Re: Request : forum migration).

If this message is created in a new topic, an admin can delete it if possible.

That's not sufficient. To add a message to a thread, you need an
In-Reply-To: header. For example, this message contains:

In-Reply-To: <_d1TXT9v2l1Ldfp7tD9KZbNIfVeUzou3lO9WfEpAX59LPWdGYIsm3Fo-pRs4VBGLmDXRgH9SUWkQ5BSN5HCSCP_VSxCzLD2hQjJ9U1bJHLk=@protonmail.com>

You'll recognize your domain name there. The rest was generated by
your mail system. Without that, you will create a new thread. To
avoid that problem, simply sign up for the group with your email
address and, as I said before, reply to the message that you're
referring to.

That's all I've ever had to do, too. And starting a new thread's as easy as just sending a new email to the llst.

If possible, I think it would be best to delete this thread. I lacked basic mailing list knowledge, the title is completely unrelated and the more relevant info is in this other thread :
