Hi Peter
Thank you for that information about William Warner Anslow. I hadn't known when he came out I didn't have the death of the child in Ballarat. I had found out some items about him from the Trove Australian newspaper site.

I am new to this group and wanted to post information about William Warner
Anslow from Staffordshire as he is mentioned several times in this
discussion thread. He married Peninnah Long in Berkeley, Gloucestershire in
1848 and they migrated to Victoria as unassisted passengers arriving on 11
November 1850 on the ship "Waterloo". They had three children born in
Melbourne, though one died in an accident in Ballarat in 1859. William
Warner Anslow was a stock auctioneer with a particular interest in horses
and went into business with various partners. They moved to the Broadsound
district near Rockhampton around 1860, later to Clermont, and finally to
Rockhampton where William died in 1869. His widow and surviving child
William George Anslow then moved to Sydney where Peninnah Anslow had
relatives. She died in 1909 and is buried in Waverley Cemetery.
William George Anslow set himself up as a stock and share broker in Sydney
and had a wife and four children but died suddenly on a business visit to
Perth in 1896 and is buried there in East Perth Cemetery.
