Hello everyone,
Thank you so much for such a fantastic year. Thank you so much for opportunity to be your chairperson over the last two years. It has been so fantastic to be a part of this community. I have met so many people through this role and I hope that you have all felt a bit of my love and passion for this group.
It is for this reason I must let you all know that I will not be standing for chair in 2019. It was a very hard decision. I have found myself in a position where I need to spend more time focusing on myself and working to improve my life and well-being. Unfortunately, that means I don’t have the time or energy that HPI deserves.
The AGM is scheduled for the 1st of March. HPI needs someone who has the know how, the enthusiasm and the skills to set it up to last another ten years.
I’m letting you all know this now because, I do not have someone I can shoulder tap to take over. I am putting it out there for you the community to decide on the future of HPI. Someone needs to step up and be supported wholeheartedly by the community or there is a real risk our organisation will to an end.
I want to give HPI the best chance of serving our community well into the future. If you have any questions about the role, or think that you may be the right person to take over please message me or the page anytime.
