Hello,

First, thanks for this nice library which is going to be very
helpful to set a clean MVC pattern in our applications.

Here are my questions :
1) Do you think gwt-mvc will fit well with the new GWT event handler
system ?
2) If not, can we expect quickly a new compatible version of gwt-
mvc ?
3) Do you think your library is useable in a production environment
(ok it is the 0.0.1 but functionalities are quite simple) ?

Regards,

Frank

Hello

Thank you for a first feedback.

1/ Could you provide your source, documentation for this new GWT Event
Handler System?

2/ We'll try to follow gwt releases, and also give retro -compatible
releases.

3/ I find no particular risk. It is just a gwt - module.
The security is the same than in all gwt application.
It is your role to evaluate risk, and find adequate security
solutions.

1/ When I check GWT roadmap (http://code.google.com/intl/fr/webtoolkit/
makinggwtbetter.html), I read this :
# Uniform event handlers

* Event handlers will be implemented in a uniform fashion across
all widgets, with listeners deprecated

The sources are already available on GWT SVN. url :
http://code.google.com/p/google-web-toolkit/source/browse/#svn/branches/1_6_clean_events.

2/ Ok

3/ I am not talking about security issues, my question should be
understand like this : Is gwt-mvc mature enough to be used in a real
production environment ?

Thanks for your answers.

1/It is not clear for me how this will work. But i can say that The gwt-mvc Event
http://gwt-mvc.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/gwt-mvc/javadoc/0.0.1/com/googlecode/gwtmvc/client/Event.html
is independant of the listener mecanism.

3/It is just your decision, as when you choose any Open Source Framework.
I'll try to obtain your confidence.

Ok, I am not sure yet to use gwt-mvc. Whatever The way you deal with
events is very elegant.

Thank you,

Frank
