Indian liberal democracy -- with its warts and all -- right before our eyes, is metamorphosing into a Putinist "Democracy".

All the paraphernalia, surely, in place and even flaunted. However, the essential spirit, the very life blood -- any space to oppose "power" -- being relentlessly and ruthlessly squeezed out.

Journeying towards: "Congress Mukt Bharat!", i.e. Opposition Mukt Democracy!

To be sure, we are not yet quite there.

Looks like, there's still some elbow room left to manoeuvre and extricate ourselves from this terrible mess and avert the eventual doom.

Provided we really, really try.

This telling video, significantly, adds to the desperate yet audacious and vigorous efforts underway.
