How AM broadcast

Can anyone give me simple directions on how to set up GQrx to listen to an AM radio broadcast.

Setting the device string to 

rtl=0,direct_samp=2

 works for me.

Thanks. That allowed me to at least get the tuner down to radio range... I'm not seeing radio stations, but then I am in a MOL Faraday cage condo.
