Samsung Galaxy S22

The GPS Essentials app does not work properly on my brand new Galaxy S22. ( Distances travelled and positions are completly off)

Phone GPS works correctly with other navigating apps)

Any comments?

I lost patience, and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It did help, but the app does not communicate well with the phone. Now positions seems to be ok, but timing is completely off, offsetting the starting time more than one hour, while using correct stop time. Hope someone can help.

Does the track itself look correct?  There may be some information at https://groups.google.com/g/gpsessentials/c/lBWyCAy2mSg/m/QD0kIZhPAAAJ that might help.  Is it possible that GPS Essentials is either not running in the background due to Samsung's battery saver feature?  Also, does GPS Essetnials have the right location permissions?  I have it set to "Allow all the time" and "Use precise location".  See https://groups.google.com/g/gpsessentials/c/eeaxtOOAlTo/m/JOXGxAP4AQAJ for additional ideas.

Hi nhoe, Thank you for your input. I believe that Samsungs battery-saver may well be the problem, it seems rather aggressive. The track simply stops after a few minutes.
