Why are approved published edits not showing up in Google maps?

My edits and additions used to show up in Google Maps the same day, or a few days at the longest.  Now none of my "published" edits and additions that I made within the past two weeks have shown up.  Has there been a recent change in the policy, or workflow that will display recent edits in Google Maps?

Hi CalEdits,

Appreciate if you could give us a peek into the type of edits you made in the recent weeks. Also, provide us with a few links to better investigate the concern.

Thanks,
-Rahim

I'm seeing this as well, although it's happening to friends of mine.  Their edits aren't showing up, but mine appear almost instantly.  For example:

Select the segment of Mill St above Pickett Park.  Notice that is has a bike lane specified, but that bike lane is not shown on Maps.

Here is one of many roads I added about a month ago.  The road was approved and published instantly, but it has never shown up in Google Maps.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for replying back. We have been hearing reports of edits made on Map Maker taking longer than usual to display on Google Maps at times. We're working hard to iron out this kink and we'd appreciate your patience on the same.

Agreed.  I too have been having the same problem.  The segments show up in MapMaker only when I have the "select road segment" tool activated, and even then only the pink highlight shows up, not the underlying road.  Other deleted or realigned segments show up in their pre-edit location, yet the pink segment highlighter shows up in their new location.  This resulting in some very odd looking intersections that are still showing up improperly for more than a week.  Hopefully these kinks will be worked out soon.  Thanks!

I'm having the same issue. I've done a lot of edits recently in the Laikipia area of Kenya. And none of my approved published changes have propagate to Google Maps.

I am having a similar problem, have changed the web address from www.salspizzabrooklyn.com to www.salspizzawilliamsburg.com three times now, approved each time; yet the old web address is still there!

A few more examples, which I noted in the forums (and thus links to the posts with more text instead of repeating that text with direct links to the edits here):

@ All - In other threads Google has confirmed that while the issue is fixed, that won't mean the entire world will suddenly rerender correctly; it's going to take a bit for everything to render out.

@Janathan - That location is claimed in Places; so what you are fighting is that the owner states that the current URL is the correct one.  You probably would have better luck going to his Places page at http://g.co/maps/ffshw and either changing it there or reporting it as a problem there.

Still experiencing points of interest which are not rendered on Maps. The points were approved nearly a month ago. Is there anyway to speed up this process? Seems very slow.
