Hi there!

I want to parse cvs reports for different report types and different languages,

I have one in English, for example :

Date/Time Generated,2/5/21 3:08 PM

Report Time Zone,Europe/London

Account ID,XXX

Date Range,2/4/21 - 2/5/21

Floodlight Configuration,Equals:XXXX

MRC Accredited Metrics,None,Active View metrics are accredited only when Measurement Source = Measured

"Reporting numbers are finalized after seven days, unless communicated otherwise."

Report Fields

Floodlight Configuration,

….

….

Grand Total:,---,---,

As you can see, we have report header, empty row, and some reserved tags(“Report Fields” and “Grand Total”)

My questions are:

  1. Does a report header has a fixed number of rows, or it depends on report type? Does an empty row always exist above “Report Fields” row?
  2. If a customer is using no English language, how can I guess about “Report Fields” and “Grand Total” because these rows will be translated?
  3. Can I determine report language via API?

Reposting the last inquiry (https://groups.google.com/g/google-doubleclick-for-advertisers-api/c/tDNtgg2fzFc) from the forum as it wasn't routed to our support queue.

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Please see my answers to your following inquiries below.
  • Does a report header has a fixed number of rows, or it depends on report type? Does an empty row always exist above “Report Fields” row?
    • Yes, the report contains a fixed number of row headers. Also, there is always an empty row exist above the "Report Fields" row
  • If a customer is using no English language, how can I guess about “Report Fields” and “Grand Total” because these rows will be translated?
    • The reporting headers are based on the language set to the user profile. For example: User profile has language set to German, then the report generated by the user will have headers in German language
  • Can I determine report language via API?
    • I'm afraid there’s no response you can use to identity the report's language.
