GMC Account Limit Increase for quota/daily_limit_exceeded

Hi, 

I would like to increase the number of accounts allowed for my GMC because as of right now it is quite low and causing `quota/daily_limit_exceeded: merchant quota exceeded` errors to be returned. Thank you!

To clarify, the quota/daily_limit_exceeded: merchant quota exceeded error occurs when you are making more than the allowed number of API requests per day for the given service method. You may also refer to the per-day quotas listed in our published limits documentation. 

 

That said, if you exceeded the allowed number of sub-account for your multi-client account, then you should encounter too_many_subaccounts: Maximum number of subaccounts reached error instead of the quota/daily_limit_exceeded: merchant quota exceeded.

 

Now, if you still want to increase the number of sub accounts on your account, then you can request the ability to create additional sub-accounts in your MCA through this form. If you have any questions with the said increase, I strongly recommend that you contact the merchant center support team through this customer support link. They are the one that provides support with sub-account quota limit increase.

 

On the other hand, in order to resolve the issue with quota/daily_limit_exceeded: merchant quota exceeded error, you need to reduce total requests sent per day by combining multiple changes into a single request when possible. Consider batching changes to products over an appropriate time period to avoid rapidly changing a product multiple times. 

 

However, if you still need more daily calls to a given method, then please provide us the following details below so that we can review and process your API quota limit increase. Kindly provide the details via ‘Reply privately to author’ option, if the private option is not available on your end, then please send it over through this email <shopping-a...@google.com> instead.

1. Merchant Center ID
2. For which services and methods is the merchant requesting quota (e.g. products.insert, accounts.get, ...)?
3. What is the requested quota?
4. Why is the increase requested? (e.g. is it temporary or permanent, is the merchant increasing their inventory, ...)
