My attempt to access the URL

http://appengine.google.com/dashboard?app_id=wordle

Results in

Error: Server Error
The server encountered an error and could not complete your
request.

If the problem persists, please report your problem and mention
this error message and the query that caused it.

FYI, I cleared my cookies, and was able to get in. I still consider
this a show-stopper.

Had the same problem with both my dashboard _and_ my app itself.
Dashboard is now working, but app is still giving that server error.

Anyone else?

Also of interest the appengine status dashboard shows no issues
despite there obviously being an issue with a server that my app is
deployed on. :(

(star http://code.google.com/p/googleappengine/issues/detail?id=2378
if that seems strange to you).

Yes,

My app is down, and the dashboard is down. Server 500 errors
everywhere.

I have not cleared my cookies to test, but that is irrelevant.
Visitors are not going to know to clear their cookies. From their
perspective, we are either incompetent or went out of business.

Please, can someone from Google address this?

I am also getting the same error when I try to sign up:
https://appengine.google.com/

I am using IE 8. It appears to be working in Firefox / Chrome.

I cleared my cookies and still experiencing the same error.

Was seeing this this morning at home in latest Safari on Snow Leopard,
then did the "Reset" thing and it worked. But now I'm on another
machine, using just Leopard (still latest Safari), and Resetting
safari doesn't work.

Hi everybody,

This issue is likely related to our issues with our auth cookies. This issue has been resolved: http://groups.google.com/group/google-appengine-downtime-notify/browse_thread/thread/7fb8a39149de3b55

Dispite assurances that this problem is fixed, I am still unable to
reach my dashboard on https://appengine.google.com/. All my browsers
Chrome, Safari & Firefox on Snow Leopard say that the Page is not
redirecting properly. I have tried reseting, clearing cookies etc, but
still not able to see the dashboard.

Can you post your app-id? Also, can you try accessing http://www.appspot.com?

I am trying to access http://appengine.google.com/dashboard/nonedeployed?app_id=activedb
but get
"This web page has a redirect loop.

The web page at https://appengine.google.com/start has resulted in too
many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-
party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server
configuration issue and not a problem with your computer."

app-id not deployed is activedb

Also I get the same redirect loop problem with your link http://www.appspot.com,
on page https://appengine.google.com/start

Also tried again on another pc and get same problem event after
deleting cookies (mac again)

Thx

I'm looking through the archives of people who have had this issue. Here are a few things we should try:

1.

Try to log in using http://appengine.google.com/a/YOURDOMAIN.COM if you are using a custom domain

2. This seems to be a fix for the command line update tool, but worth trying:

Update your system clock.
