This could be especially useful for video ads, as they might take more time to load.
This way, while the ad is loading, we could show a progress to the user too.
We could also decide that if after a few seconds we don't see any progress, maybe we do something else instead.

The progress could be bytes downloaded compared to total for when loading the actual ad, and also an enum/integer for the phase of the loading of the ad.

Hi,

Thank you for contacting the Mobile Ads SDK Support team.

The Ad progress should be displayed while it is loading. The progress bar should be hidden before the Ad starts and the status bar should be hidden if any errors or exceptions occur.

Thanks,

There is no progress in any of the links you've provided, and there is no "progress bar" and "status bar" either as it doesn't make sense. I don't think you understood what this is about. Suppose I have some ad I'm about to show (rewarded ad or even a native ad). While it's loading, I want to have some indication about it, that shows the progress too. Then when it's done, I will be able to use the ad and show it.
Also why did you write it privately instead of inside the thread?

Hi Liran,

I understand your concern related to progress bars. Please note that, currently it is not possible through the SDK. But I will consider this as a FR if required in future for multiple users.

As of now, I can only suggest to show a progress dialog without progress percentage after the adsLoaded event and hide it after the adsStart event or exceptions occur.

Thanks,

I didn't say the API should have progress bar.
I said about progress, and we could choose to do as we wish about this information, including both a nicer UI for the user (can be a progress bar, but can also be a special animation or anything else), and also a way for us to decide what to do in case it takes so long.
