Hi - since updating the app is unresponsive on changing out of the Activities view.

The TRENDS view does not show and app grinds to a halt - only difference is this new release.

In v3.5-DEV1810 is still working.

Main difference is 1810 doesn’t include SSL libraries, so it uses your system ones, and 190x include Ubuntu’s version which probably don’t work on Arch, I’m not able to generate a build without them now since I’m on travel, but you could extract the AppImage, remove libssl* and libcrypt* from the extracted folder and run AppRun from there if you want to try.

On a separate note, I am just curious about how "Ride a GPX file in Train View" is implemented in this latest build. The release note states that I can do this, but I don't see any options for it. I do remember the work around from before where I have to load an activity and then import that into train view but I always that was an odd method. I thought perhaps I can directly create a work out from a GPX file in train view.

Almost all functions I use seem to work as expected on Linux Mint 19.1

Only thing that doesn't work anymore since the 1901 build is zooming on the map to an interval. It's fine to zoom to intervals on data series.

I've got exactly the same problem using Ubuntu 18.04.

Did tried to extract the libssl* and libcrypt* but the problem persists:

The problem with the last 2 dev build is they were generated by travis and the scrtipt lacks  Withings/Nokia and OpenData secrets, I will fix it and publish an updated AppImage, sorry for the inconvenience.

Query: "legacy" BikeScore values still appear to be showing in charts for runs recorded using Stryd PM

The activities have 0 BikeScore value following 4886a8d Force BikeScore to zero for runs and swims

Noticed on Banister Chart when filtering between Bike / Run

The Banister CP / PTE / NTE are not impacted (ie Run BikeScore = 0 value)

The CP metric shows as expected Run vs Bike (filter required)

BikeScore is showing for Run from end Dec (first recorded activity) until end of Jan (potentially reflecting my last update prior to v3.5-dev1903)

Noticed also on PMC (Skiba) chart

For reference: Time in Power Zone to illustrate other Run activities recorded with Stryd power data

Wanted to highlight this quirk

...and I guess also to ask how (if?) I should be tracking run power data in PMC? That might be better to follow up in a separate thread? RunningByNumbers suggests manually entering RSS as TSS

I understand Ale is also exploring how the Banister chart can be applied across sports

No problem Mark, I updated the AppImage in the release to include Withings, SportTracks and OpenData secrets.

Withings and OpenData seems to be working, I haven't tested SportTracks but it should work.

Go to train tab, click to import activity, select your gpx. This would previously fail. Now that gpx is loaded you can use it as any other trainer file.

Hi,

Another thing that I noticed is that averaging of body measurements such as HRV still includes zero-values. Only a minor remark, but it's useful to see trends on weekly/monthly basis for body measurements.

I have an issue where I tried V3.5 just out of curiosity. After using it for about a month I decided I wanted my custom charts in V3.4 so reverted to that. However all the activity files uploaded to V3.5 have no data when viewed in V3.4 (although the manual adjustments and annotations are there) and all my carefully constructed charts are gone too.  I've tried reinstalling V3.5, but now it just hangs up on the verification box. 

So I've reached an impasse, I really wished I'd left well alone as my IT skills are marginal at best. 

Any help would be gratefully received as I've got 9 years of ride files all carefully annotated.

The file format is not backwards compatible, nor are the chart settings.

The missing data can be reimported in 3.4 if you look in the "<cyclist>/imports" folder as we always keep the original "just in case"

"Error retrieving access token, Socket operation timed out (4)"

any workarounds are known? I couldn't find it here but maybe I missed something.

Were you able to resolve the strava access token issue?  Based on the release notes, I would expect 1903 to work with strava.

Hi Chris,

I managed to find a workaround. When granting access to Strava there are 3 option to select and when just pressing ok, with all of them set as ON, I had this error. Playing with it I found out that the second one (I think it is the one saying that I allow GC to edit and/or post) was possibly the issue. By disabling that option, it worked.

Which was the last version when this worked?

It also happens when the segment is based on a USER interval or only when it is based on an automatically detected one?

If you create a new athlete and import a couple of activities it doesn't work either?

If the problem affects only one user it's very likely a cache corruption problem, in that case removing the cache/rideDB.json file under athlete's folder when GC is closed and restarting should fix it.
