Hi,

My PMC chart shows :

Coggan Acute Training Load
Coogan Chronic Training Load
Coogan Training Stress Balance
plus
BikeStress.

What happens is the that the axis label and the value in the chart itself shoes RR...
Isn't RR Ramp Rate?

Thank you.

Yes, it is fixed but you need to View > Reset Layout to apply the change.
If you want to preserve you current layout you can fix this by yourself on More > Chart Settings

Thank you.

Hi,

Yep. It's worked. tks.
But I'm still related confused.

UG_Glossary says:
"BikeStress/TSS : Training Stress Score®. A quantification of the training session that takes into account the duration and intensity of the training based on the power data. It's intended to estimate the training load and physiological stress created by that session (it's conceptually modeled after the heart rate-based training load, TRIMP)."

Is this correct? BikeStress can be showed in 4 types but none of them looks like TSS. The most similar I've found was TriScore which pretty much matches with Garmin and ST3 TSS values.

Also I'd suggest to include BikeScore in the glossary because to be honest all this name has driven a newbie crazy :-) .

As you can see GC is mixing the contexts menus language. My windows is PT-BR but I'´m set to English which I rather prefer...

My best regards

Yes, but you need to use Metric as type, not Stress since this is for Stress metrics based on BikeStress (CTL/LTS, ATL/STS, TSB/SB and RR) and not BikeStress itself.

It is included, I've just updated the reference to Skiba paper using archive.org since the original link was stale.

There are 2 portuguese  translations (PT and PT-BR) and neither has received an update in several years, I think these and Japanese are untouched from version 2, so this is expected.

Before each release we make a request for help with translations (this is for v3.5 https://groups.google.com/d/msg/golden-cheetah-users/-NftXc7hV9U/wVYwnGSYCgAJ) and most other languages are updated by collaborators using GC in those languages, but for Portuguese and Japanese we are out of luck.

Nice.

TriScore is the one showed at "Summary" and I can see there is a tiny minor diference in values between it and BikeStress. Should I stick with TriScore instead?
Regarding language I wish I could see all in English once I'm set to English.

Thank you,

It's your call:
  • TriScore uses BikeScore for rides, but it also computes stress scores based on speed and CV for runs and swims, and it fallbacks to HR when Power/Speed are not available.
  • BikeStress is just Coggan TSS only for rides, without automatic fallback.

Use View > Reset Layout and Reset to Default on Trends Sidebar Charts or, better yet if you are new to GC, create a new athlete and re-import your activities after switching to english.
