Next week's (Tues 15th 7:30pm @theskiff) Functional Brighton is a
joint session with BrightonPy taking a look at functional programming
as it applies to Python programming,

http://www.meetup.com/Functional-Brighton/events/63895532/

A rough idea of topics we'll cover includes:

* An introduction to functional programming - what is it? how is it
different? why is it interesting?
* Functional patterns in Python - how are common functional idioms
expressed in Python
* Use cases for functional approaches in Python

Many thanks to Jamie Matthews (@j4mi) and Kingsley Davies (@kings13y)
and Thomas Parslow (@almostobsolete) for getting this together.

See you there ... :-)

Cheers,

Miles
