Hi All !

So, some good news and some bad news this month.

First, the bad news is we have no scheduled events for Functional Brighton this month :-(

Now for the good ! There are a few other functional meetings happening in April, namely:

15th - 18th April - Milner Symposium, Edinburgh: http://events.inf.ed.ac.uk/Milner2012/index.html
17th - 18th April - ScalaDays, London:  http://days2012.scala-lang.org/
19th April - Intro to Scala, London: http://skillsmatter.com/event/java-jee/scala-intro (put together by the excellent LSUG - http://www.meetup.com/london-scala)

Also, there's plans afoot for a combined event with the Brighton Python User Group (http://brightonpy.org/) in May/June, (details to be posted when plans have firmed up) !

Finally, there was talk of some code reading nights, with suggestions for review items most welcome ! (I'd like to suggest scalaz (http://code.google.com/p/scalaz/) and shapeless (https://github.com/milessabin/shapeless and http://marakana.com/s/shapeless,1097/index.html) to get the ball rolling !)

If you're having a long weekend, hope it's a good one !

cya,

k
