Saw this mentioned on internet-BoB.

"[Chris Blandford's] Firsthand Framebuilding business is set to expand
into a framebuilding school and shared shop space scheduled to open
next summer."

Hi,

Chris is a great guy. He helped me quite a bit purchasing the Della Santa Campy tools and all the remaining steel inventory I had from Roland. I just sent a few more fork crowns and Campy dropouts outs to him yesterday.

He has built a fantastic facility in Portland. We saw the plans when we visited Chris in January. We also saw some of his own frames which were beautifully built.

I wish him all good luck!

Thanks all! I appreciate the mention here.

We'll be making a larger announcement at MADE this weekend, but for anyone who is interested, here's a teaser of our plans:

I'm confident in our ability to put together a really nice offering, but yes, my fingers are also crossed that there's enough framebuilding interest still rumbling out there to keep our courses full. : ) Hey, if not, we'll have a super nice spot from which to build bikes and sell tubes!

-Chris
