Anthropic wants their AIs to be happy

Anthropic, the company that made the Claude AI, is forming a "Model Welfare Team" whose job is to determine if AIs are conscious, and if they are they want to make sure their AIs are happy and not living in pain. The company is currently hiring people to form that team, annual salary is between $315,000 and $340,000. If you're interested click on the job application below.
