Errors Reflecting On Startup But AddIn Working Well?

Hi Govert,

A couple of questions with your master guidance and help requested hereby:

Question 1

While loading a self-developed xll via Excel DNA nuget package Version="1.6.0-preview4" upon debugging I'm getting a couple of errors at Excel Start like the following in the Diagnostic Display:

Initialization [Warning] ResolvePath: Could not find FXL_UIs\FXL_RbnX\fxl_RbnX.xml from DnaDirectory E:\eLaboratory\Excel\DNA\fxl_Net_2022\FXLDNA\bin\Debug\net6.0-windows
Runtime [Error] Unhandled exception in async delegate call. : FileNotFoundException - Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'. The system cannot find the file specified.

While the AddIn works well.

Any reason for the same?

Question 2

In addition to the same, while I place the Master DNA template file in the root directory of th project it refers to the ExternalLibrary in a subfolder quite easily, but if the said Master DNA too is placed in another subfolder the Path attribute fails and found to be complaining:

... ExternalLibrary `..\FXL_UIs\FXL_RbnX\fxl_RbnX.xml` not found. ABORTING. 

... System.InvalidOperationException: !!! ERROR: ExternalLibrary `..\FXL_UIs\FXL_RbnX\fxl_RbnX.xml` not found. ABORTING....

How to find a file by first approaching the parent directory one level up and then the subfolders and file in the following structure?

..\FXL_UIs\FXL_RbnX\fxl_RbnX.xml

Thanks to Govert's excellent update today at https://groups.google.com/g/exceldna/c/FX5NoaiDu_o/m/GHwusAPNBgAJ leading to resolve one of the errors of  FileNotFoundException - Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel, Version=15.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c'. The system cannot find the file specified being complained by an AddIn I was designing!
