Typescript engine - but only Javascript samples?

seems strange to me that the tutorials and samples aren't also in typescript? Is there a reason?

I was looking for a simple game engine to introduce to my coder-dojo class, and would much prefer to go the Typescript route.

Hi Maxxx, it's only because we aren't yet at a stage where we feel comfortable writing formal samples and documentation for both languages and it seems most folks coming in aren't as familiar with TS so we chose JS for now. The API is still under active development and will continue to have breaking changes until 1.0 stable which means most samples go out-of-date and we'd like to build out infrastructure to make sure we stay on top of API changes.

We do plan to have official sample games which will have model code to reference but those are still a WIP. The ones now are not what I'd call model code (but at least it's something).

I'd advise taking a look at the Gallery games, even though they aren't samples (or model code), they do showcase how we build games on the team using TypeScript. The code is better for the most recent games (as of now, I Just Wanted Groceries) vs. older ones.
