Trump Derangement Syndrome on the RIGHT

Comedian Bill Maher has often criticized (justifiably in my opinion) the excessive wokeness of Democrats on the extreme left, so some have asked him why he doesn't just become a Republican, his short answer is "because I don't want to live in North Korea". Maher then goes on to point out that Republicans want to make Trump's birthday a national holiday, put Trump on the hundred dollar bill, and change the name of Dulles airport to Donald Trump airport. Republicans dress like Trump, they dance like Trump, they named fighter jets after Trump; his communication secretary said it's a good thing that Trump has taken over the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts because Trump "is a virtuoso and his musical choices represent a brilliant pallet of vivid colors while others paint in pale pastels".

Maher then asks a very reasonable question: 

"If I admit that there is a level of Trump Derangement Syndrome on the left, will you admit that this shit is also deranged?"
