You sure didn't look very hard, or maybe you just don't know how to use Google. Your scientific nemesis and Trump's, Dr. Anthony Fauci, thinks for the next pandemic is only a matter of time, so he wants to get to work right now on a program to develop prototype universal vaccines for 20 different families of viruses that could potentially undergo just one small mutation and start the next pandemic. Such a program would discover the precise 3D chemical structure of the viruses  so that antibodies could be developed that have the correct shape to fit in and attack the parts of the outer coating of the viruses that are stable and do not mutate so we could have a vaccine that would work against all likely mutated versions of the virus family. Dr. Fauci says research tools have become so powerful in the last few years that such a program is actually feasible, although it would cost "a few billion dollars” a year, take five years for the first crop of results and engage a huge cadre of scientists". Dr. Fauci said he has been promoting the idea “in discussions with the White House and others.” and  “If we get the funding, which I believe we will, it likely will start in 2022.”

A few billion dollars may seem like a lot of money but it's peanuts compared to the multi trillion dollar economic damage that COVID-19 has already caused, not to mention the 650,000 Americans who have died because of it. So I agree with Dr. Fauci, I think that program will start in 2022,  unless of course Trump's Republican minions in the US Senate manage to block it with a filibuster, but if they do those Senator's names will be remembered during the next pandemic.

Fauci Wants to Make Vaccines for the Next Pandemic Before It Hits

If funded, a government program costing several billion dollars could develop “prototype” vaccines to protect against 20 families of viruses.

It's likely that I don't know how to use Google, but I do know how with Starpage and Duckduckgo. Fauci is no hero is any sense of the word and like most democrats have no issue siding with America's physically, most determined and deadly enemy, Xi's China. From your media pals at Politico, comes an article that has been surprisingly prescient.

Exclusive: Why Trump went hard on China, and Biden will follow

Fauci sides with Xi as does the DNC & all the Woke Boards of Directors at the big corporation$ because, money. They also gamble, and what is the stock market but gambling, that things will stay stable enough for the boards and their chief inve$tors, to increase profits. The Reps are also not immune from this feature.

When Xi strikes, those that sided with him will be focused upon.

What about Biden? Well, no! His ass is Golden. Here is why:

US Air Force to send dozens of F-22 fighter jets to the Pacific amid tensions with China

See, like I said the Politico article was prescient?

What does it mean "sides with Xi"?  They're both against the pandemic?

They also gamble, and what is the stock market but gambling, that things will stay stable enough for the boards and their chief inve$tors, to increase profits. The Reps are also not immune from this feature.

That's what I call a Prof Harold Hill argument.  Fauci starts with "F" and that's followed by "G" and "G" stands for gambling. And there's gambling on Wall Street and it's done to increase profits...which starts with "P" and stands for Potato.

So Mr.Spudboy100 it seems you don't like China or Xi, well let's see how your great hero Donald J Trump does on that score.
On January 22, 2020 Trump was asked "
Are there worries about a pandemic at this point?" and he answered:

"We're working on it very closely. I spoke to President Xi two days ago. They're working on it very professionally. It's a problem, we think and we hope, based on all signs that the problem goes away in April because -- which is not too far down the road, because heat kills this virus"
----------
On Jan. 22, 2020 Trump said on Twitter:

“One of the many great things about our just signed giant Trade Deal with China is that it will bring both the USA & China closer together in so many other ways. Terrific working with President Xi, a man who truly loves his country. Much more to come!”

===

On Jan. 24, 2020 Trump said on Twitter:

“China has been working very hard to contain the Coronavirus. The United States greatly appreciates their efforts and transparency. It will all work out well. In particular, on behalf of the American People, I want to thank President Xi!”

===

February 10, 2020 Trump said:

"Well, I think China is very, you know, professionally run in the sense that they have everything under control. I really believe they are going to have it under control fairly soon. You know in April, supposedly, it dies with the hotter weather. And that's a beautiful date to look forward to. But China I can tell you is working very hard. We're working with them. You know, we just sent some of our best people over there, World Health Organization and a lot of them are composed of our people. They're fantastic. And they're now in China, and we're helping them out. We're in very good shape. We have 11 cases and most of them are getting better very rapidly. I think they'll all be better."

And speaking of a "determined and deadly enemy" let's not forget Kim Jong Un, the brutal dictator of North Korea, the country more like George Orwell's 1984 than any other place on the planet, on September 18, 2018 this is what Trump said about that homicidal maniac:

"we fell in love, okay? No, really - he wrote me beautiful letters, and they’re great letters"

And I end this post WITH MY REAL NAME because unlike some I am willing to take responsibility for what I wrote:

Well those low rent also-ran search engines clearly aren't getting the job done, so you better step up to Google and learn how to use it.

> Fauci is no hero is any sense of the word

Dr. Fauci has been using his skills, saving lives, and risking his life by battling hideous highly infectious diseases for nearly half a century, I'd say the word "hero" is an adequate representation of such behavior; I don't have enough courage to do that, and I'm certain anonymous coward Spudboy100 and Donald Trump don't either.

> and like most democrats [blah b;ah blah]

In a speech Trump said of Dr. Fauci "He’s a Democrat. Everybody knows that", but I'll let you in on a little secret, not everything (or much of anything) that your hero Donald Trump says is true. Dr. Fauci is not affiliated with any political party; and by the way, the COVID-19 virus does not have a registered affiliation with any political party either, not even the Communist Party of China. Both you and Trump assumed he was a Democrat because Dr. Fauci believes in the Scientific Method and thus he would not and could not back up Trump's absurd happy talk about the virus. And "everybody knows that" reality has a Democratic bias.

Don-the-Con t'Rump and spuds are cases of how never to address an emerging adversary. They both scream to the sky and run higher and yon in a panic; it is the reaction of a drowning man. The Chinese quietly for years and decades positioned themselves to challenge American dominance in fields of technology and even military power. They followed Sun Tzu in "Art of War," where one positions themselves before a battle so it is won before it starts. Our reaction to what China has been doing should be similar, quiet, deliberate and calculated. Instead the trumpite GOPers are yelling in a panic with, "The Chinese are coming."

The right wing is generally populated by stupid people, the most inferior of humanity.

American academia is in tight with Xi's Confucius Institutes, and this troubles me.  In other words like the politicians, the administration and faculty take donations from Comrade Xi. Comrade Xi is a committer of genocide and academia sides with woke globalist  companies that do business with Xi's genocidal regime. You think most don't pay attention to the Confucius Institutes on campus (now re-naming themselves) and bribing academic's and especially administrations? Really?

Academia + Woke China-Facing corporations are leading the US (I will say the middle class) down to ruin.

The Chinese are coming seems sad but true and if the do come Lawrence it will because of people of your ideology and not mine. The Chinese, the Mainland Han have a term for the progressives especially in the US, it is called in Mandarin, Baizuo. Allow me, LC.

Neither you nor I LC, control what the Communist Party Chinese leadership sees their advantage being. It may never happen, but an attack on the US, say in the Pacific, seems to be more than simply paranoia on this serf's part. You dems may at some point, even as a precaution might, start to looking more favorably on the American people, and less on what the DNC asks of you, Woke Corporations (China facing), demand of you? An armed conflict overshadowing the loss of life of American troops, or elsewhere, as we experienced on 9-11 may change things instantly, no matter who is in office?

Biden woke up fast to the danger that Xi intends to the point of moving dozens of F-22 raptors to Guam, even though his son and brother took cash from The Party.
&

For people who deal with advanced cosmology theory your team totally becomes irrational when it involves Orange Man, or the US middle class, or even a bit of self-interested nationalism. (Money is nice.) On Fauci, forget loyalty and find somebody who isn't addicted to his class (the richest) and can forms to come up with better ways of survival.

For instance, if there is an on-going lethal extension of Covid, we then need to come up with meds that negate the cytokine storm effects, so, in other words, (different emphasis verse vaccines) you catch whatever is pitched by biology, but through medical intervention (drugs) render the infection non-lethal. Just an idea from a lowly peasant, who awaits the Holy Proclamations of his betters, just not Fauci.

Toodles.

He saved lives in the past, less so today. We need somebody better. You want to embrace him because you hold him as the Roman Catholics held The Popes, Infallible. Not so. Plus, relying of the Ruling Class, me bucko has proven to be a huge mistake for the US economy. (Another topic). Now your party is locked in with the Globalists (their funders) because campaigns rely hugely on lots of money.

The dems have divorced themselves from the US Middle class, (they only retain the unions) and your head cheese would be wise to re-emphasize his bennies away from the Woke Globalists, but he won't. Reason? I think the DNC hates the rest of us and now, and has gone full eliminationism upon the rest of us. This is my guess and my guess may wrong.

On The Donald (Glad you asked) I demand more of my politicians then many do. He was a great comic and did great on unemployment through 2019. He was wise to China, and illegal immigration. On the other hand he was still a billionaire and thought like one. He did leave the rest of us hanging (post election) while claiming the Krakens of voter fraud, and then has so far failed to come up with his famed, "social media platform." So meh, to all that. He has a heart like a hammer and can campaign like he was 30 years younger!

Depending on what befalls Joe with the plague, China, unemployment, inflation, crime, immigration, forced communist flavored ideological programming of the young by the Karen's (not the Krakens) at school, we could see a genuine backlash against your team. We shall see? Fauci needed to be more flexible and quicker regarding this plague and not covering his own ass regarding Dear Old Comrade Xi.

We need a true scientist and not a servant of the political elites who all are funded by Wall Street. WS is good for themselves and not the US middle class.

Trump's a billionaire. He has far more in common culturally with his ideological opposites like DNC funders Tom Steyer, and King George Soros. We have gone the Globalist route way too much and the US middle class has suffered as a result. There's been a million articles over the last 10 years for AI taking over all work, which has been long-expected, but slow on arrival. Andrew Yang was in love with Guaranteed Income but I say that the reason it hasn't taken off, is that there has been no material change in engineering (actual successfully applied physics & chemistry) that would constitute a material and a psychological boost in, as Chucky Marx said, "The means of production." Otherwise, say I, we wind up just doing the inflationary printing of money, or pulsing the right electron code into bank accounts existing in a database(server farm).

Newer attempt at paying off debt:

Its the same result, because with a change in the production of goods, & electricity (lots and lots of it) the song remains the same.

For getting us out of the the old ways I recommend (as a peasant now) pursuing a couple of intriguing to me, engineering attempts.
This, for making, growing bacon, Styrofoam, leather, brick, Mushrooms-

Lab grown Foie Gras (as a cultured meat example)

Also medicine, everything from Crispr-Cas9 fixes to tissue engineering to neural implants to yadda yadda.

For a true everyone gets a paycheck world, I'd look profoundly at lunar and asteroid mining. This, because of necessary rare earths lying at those sites would give us a Yang economy.  Like other utilitarian's, I as a serf am of course open to whatever works?

Fauci has his turn at bat, we need somebody who goes beyond virology and public health to work on covid and other attendant threats.

But again with the DNC now catering only to the Blmtifa's The Karens, The boards of directors of woke corporations (who all like Xi's contribution$) we seem to be set for a national split, Old Orange Don, and Jumbled Joe, notwithstanding. Not my choice, but  I am but a humble peasant, content with working the lands of his betters, and milking the pigs or whatever.

> We have gone the Globalist route way too much and the US middle class has suffered as a result.

And Trump has also been doing everything he can think of to increase the amount of middle-class suffering, just look at the big tax break he gave to the rich, and the huge tax break he gave to the super rich, and the ultra humongous tax break he gave to the ultra super rich. And Obama inherited the worst economic disaster in the last century, but the job growth during the last three years of his presidency 2014, 2015 and 2016 the number of jobs grew by 3.006, 2.729 and  2.318 million respectively, and those three years were better than Trump's best year 2018 with 2.314 million; and Trump is the first president since Herbert Hoover in which more people were working on the first day of his presidency than the last day.

Trump followers such as yourself get all hot and bothered over the budget deficit, well your hero Donald Trump's tax break for the super mega ultra rich increased the national debt by 6.7 TRILLION dollars, that's trillion with a "T".

Did you look for work in IT John, during the Obama years? I can guarantee you that it was no bloom of jobs. Color me intimately involved with that sector of the economy, and even when Trump was in, it was hard to place Joe jobs by 2019 because there were so many jobs to be had. Latinos and Blacks began peeling from the dem zone, because who the hell needs em?

Trump was a very rich man who left your pals in Blackrock, the lads Tom Steyer and Georgy Sorehead alone.
But keep obsessing about him please, for he is a might show man!

And that is typical of the unscientific mindset that is ubiquitous among Trump supporters, ESP loonies, and anti-vaxxers. I backup my statements with hard facts and statistics, you try (unsuccessfully) to back up your statements with personal anecdotes. The fact is, Obama became president right in the middle of the worst economic disaster in a century; on his first day in office Obama inherited an economy in ruins caused by the previous Republican president. On the other hand Trump inherited from his Democratic predecessor an economy that was booming on his first day in office, and on Trump's last day in office the economy was a basket case.

I didn't either, but to let you know, so many American IT workers suffered under Obama's weak economy (Plenty of Food Stamp money to trade for crack  for, and free Mexican Made Trac phones!) and weak on jobs. I have seen these and I remember. You got yours, Jack.
