In Trump's new budget proposal he wants to drop the budget to operate the two Keck telescopes in Hawaii by 100%, which would effectively shut them down, and they are the two largest and most scientifically productive land based telescopes in the USA. And Trump wants to cut NASA's astrophysics budget by 66% and NASA's Physics Of The Cosmos budget by 99.7%, which would mean there would be no money to operate the following satellite telescopes which are already in orbit and producing good science, they would have to be turned off:

The Ultraviolet Transient Astronomy Satellite
The Chandra X-ray Observatory
The Fermi Gamma Ray Telescope

The Nancy Grace Roman Telescope survives but just barely, it suffers a 62% budget cut, the James Webb Telescope a 25% cut, and the Hubble Telescope a 10% cut. And Trump wants to cut any scientific partnership we've had with Europe, so not a dime more to support the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna or the recently launched Euclid Telescope.

But Trump will be spending $134 million of our taxpayer money on Saturday to stage his stupid North Korea style military parade.
