Are Fox and Newsmax stupid or not stupid?
Are they killing people or not killing people?
Are they evil or not evil?
I think the answers are obvious:

They are mostly killing stupid people.  But sadly they my also be killing some children, and they are providing an infected pool within which the virus can continue to mutate.  One of those mutations may circumvent the vaccinations we have.

If this were factual of course, then the delat variant would have started in the US in Trump country. According to the summary, the delta variant didn't arise from say, Oklahoma, or Mississippi, but here instead.

So maybe the Darwinian factor doesn't come into play here? Or they's all Trump supporters, Billy-Bob!

Logically we can conclude that it must've started in a place that was largely unvaccinated, and when the Delta Varian originated that was nearly the entire world.

The delta variant seems to have originated in the United Kingdom back in the days when that country was as unvaccinated as the hillbilly Trump states in the USA are today.

And because AstraZeneca’s Vaccine does not work well against virus variants is exactly why it has NOT been approved by the FDA for use in the USA, but three other vaccines, Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson have been approved and they work quite well against all known COVID-19 variants although the Johnson and Johnson vaccine is not used much. I'm curious, have you taken one of the 3 vaccines that have been approved? I certainly have.   \

No, No, John. Jesus in a dream told me to avoid these heathen vaccines for each has microchip in each vial. You see, I am a member of a snake dance faith, and as a matter to test our faith, we dance with snakes. I have learned John that when one dances with snakes, it's best, after all, to let the snake lead.

This is not the reason that this vaccine has not been issued a EUA by the FDA.   It's related to multiple issues with the quality of the data, errors in dosing during clinical trials, and concerns around thrombotic events linked to the vaccine.   Based on a recent Cell paper and other reports, preliminary evidence points to it being effective against the Delta variant in terms of reducing severity of infection avoiding hospitalization/death.

This covers some of the issues AZN had with US regulatory agencies:

I am pro vaccine, but also a bit of a procrastinator. Eventually I got the first dose, moderna, (today) and, yes, it has been approved by the FDA, ...although this is a more an argument of concern to me, given that the FDA continues to lie implicitly on cannabis.
That is the problem with the liars: sometimes they say the truth.
I do trust the FDA about the vaccine though.
Liars who *always* lie exists only in Smullyan's Island of Knight and Knaves, which is a good tool to explain Gödel's incompleteness and this by avoiding the Diagonal Lemma or the second recursion theorem of Kleene. Eventually we still needs those important lemma for the second incompleteness theorem and Löb and their relation with  G* (the machine propositional theology).

I do know that the Indians have moved the AZ potion into high gear because of good, locally tested results and received a license to mass produce over there. If Moderna or Pfizer wasn't available I'd have taken the AZ brand, but I'd have loaded up on aspirin to alleviate concerns about purported clotting. The issue now, as of today, is the cross talk by the CDC, and local health departments concerning continued masking because of the D variant. Of their medical advice and expertise, many have become doubtful, because it seems to be confusing as well as the belief of Pfizer's (which I took) side effect on the young? I have zero problem taking a booster shot. In St. Louis the government is requiring masks indoors again, as of today.

If I was European I'd take whatever become available except I'd look with doubt upon the Chinese brew, and the Russian stuff-and it may all turn out to be effective, but who knows, who do you trust?
