I have a 1965 valiant convertible 273 and I’m trying to pull the heads without pulling the engine. I have everything off except the lower middle bolt on each head. Seems the exhaust doesn’t want to get out of my way. Does anyone have any suggestions I’m at my wits end and I don’t want to pull engine getting under car to work is to hard getting to old. Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks

Another option is to remove or loosen the large motor
mount/insulator nuts from the K-member, lift the engine a bit
with a floor jack and a piece of wood at the oil pan, and that
will allow you to rock the engine from side to side a bit. That
should give you the clearance you need for the socket.
