Hi All,

Apologies if I am posting incorrectly, I have not been active on the group for a long time!

I am looking for a Telegu speaker in the Somerset area, if that is not possible then phone or digital contact might work instead. This is for an Early Years setting to have a sensitive parent meeting.

Many Thanks!

Kind Regards,

Louise Campbell-White

Dear Louise
We do have a Telegu  speaker. Could you give me an idea of when you would like this meeting to take place. It will  have to be via zoom or a phone call.
I will get in touch with Sreveeni and check her availability.
I have attached the form that you will need to fill in and return.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Rehana
PS I have also attached our summer programme, if you could share this with schools in your area, I would be very grateful.

Louise, I was about to point you to Rehane when she popped up in the replies. We are likely to be encountering a lot more Telugu speakers. Apparently, mainly due to US links with the Hyderabad area it is the fastest growing language in the US

Mantra Lingua have resources in Telugu
I visited the area BC (before COVID) to spread the cause of collaborative learning and sparked a lot of interest for developing collaborative multilingual Telugu/Hindi/Tamil/English resources and even an interest in including French in Puducherry. Who speaks how much of what language is a political hot potato in India.
