The matter has been looked into through DCP/T-WR. Point wise reply is as under:-
1. Traffic signals in Dwarka are maintained on daily basis, and monitoring of the signals is also been done regularly. If any signal is found non-working action is being taken by area traffic staff. But sometimes, due to electricity cable faults/supply faults traffic signals became non-functional for leper period.
2. At IP University signal, action is being taken regularly against the vehicles found violating traffic rules and plying on wrong side as per provisions of M.V Act and other relevant laws. Special drives are also conducted from time to time against vehicles found plying on wrong side from the said place. Adequate traffic staff is deployed to take action against violators.
3. Regular prosecution against the TSRs and E-rickshaw found violating traffic rules is being done. They are prosecuted for the violation of wrong carriage way.
4. Matter relates to local police.
